「を」marks the direct object of a verb — what the action is done to. Structure: Noun ＋ を ＋ transitive verb ✅ Hon wo yomimasu. (I read a book.) ✅ Mizu wo nomimasu. (I drink water.) ✅ Ongaku wo kikimasu. (I listen to music.) 💡 を always comes before an action verb (eat, drink, read, do, etc.)
